Don't Let Roger Wear You Down!
Need to rise up
Everyone needs to rise up!
Seems like Roger HAS gotten a lot of people down.
I figured these blogs would be SMOKING HOT since King Goodell proclaimed himself Super King Emperor of all his slave players.

Don't Let Roger Wear You Down!
Totally agree. I don't know how much more there is to say about it, so I don't blame anyone, either, if they don't want to keep talking about it, but it should not be forgotten. The public needs to be reminded, at least every once in a while, of the dictatorial methods Roger uses to run the league. Because it can happen to their team when they least expect it, and eventually if enough pressure is kept on Goodell, he will have to face the music.
Right now it's just us Saints fans, and that won't be enough. All these other wuss fans around the league need to get a clue and stop being stereotypical "I don't care what happens, as long as it isn't my team" people. I have been saying for years that Roger was ruining the league, long before stupidgate.Posted 05-09-2012 at 06:25 PM by burningmetal -
We Have A Hypocrite In Our Midst
No, not the NHL too! ... but this is what professional sports is coming to ... do you play the game as it was intended or do you protect yourself from lawsuits? We live in a litigious society, be prepared for all professional, contact sports to go the way of professional wrestling ... it'll all just be scripted entertainment ... "and in this corner" ...Posted 03-23-2012 at 06:49 AM by SloMotion -

We Have A Hypocrite In Our Midst
Much agreed. The league can't have it both ways.
It's not just the NFL ... America is starting to ruin all it's team sports. The NHL, I'm afraid, will eventually catch up to the madness.Posted 03-21-2012 at 06:25 PM by neugey -
A Tragic Day in American History
I was attending ST Patricks Catholic School when this happened. We had stopped class to watch it because one of our Nun's knew the teacher. Anyway, the explosion is still burned into my memory. Three things I will never forget seeing. The shuttle exploding, the Berlin Wall coming down and seeing the 2nd tower collapes.
Great blog SF. Thanks for letting us remember, brother.Posted 02-01-2012 at 10:54 AM by SapperSaint -
A Tragic Day in American History
NASA knew not to launch. That's the saddest thing about it. They had known for almost 10 years and yet they caved in to external pressure.
I suppose you can say, you know, it's a dangerous occupation. You can say you have to be good with the risk. And as with anything, sometimes you have to break your own rules so as to appease other people...
Or do you?
I appreciate everyone's comments. This one will always be near and dear to me.Posted 01-30-2012 at 11:04 AM by saintfan

A Tragic Day in American History
I took it for granted that the Space Shuttle would take off and come back because it always had before. Actually didn't hear about the explosion until after, was off somewhere doing 'military' stuff. I remember thinking, "O-rings?". I agree, it takes a special kind of person to go through that training and then strap on a suit to blast off into outer space. Thanks for the remind, saintfan.Posted 01-29-2012 at 08:10 PM by SloMotion -
A Tragic Day in American History
It's a sad, sad story and I've also read or heard they were alive for a few minutes before impact, that the explosion itself probably did not kill them.
I will remember this. I'll never forget where I was that day....Posted 01-29-2012 at 03:15 PM by Halo -

Tebow Is Winning Me Over
Did anyone notice how many yards Tebow passed for last week? 316, as in 3:16, John 3:16. Coincidence? IDK, Tebow 3:16, Nostradamus predicts the world ends in 2012, the Mayan Calendar ends 12/21/2012, the Lions make the playoffs ... this very well could be the 'end times'.
just sayin'.Posted 01-12-2012 at 06:42 PM by SloMotion -
Tebow Is Winning Me Over
IMO, this is all becoming a big sociological experiment ... how much attention, adoration and defamation can one man (Tebow) possibly receive and still remain humble and unchanged? Sponsored by ESPN.Posted 01-12-2012 at 07:40 AM by neugey
