Hipocrisy in the mainstream media
It's ALL about the money.
Same thing with "Documentaries" we see on PBS or cable tv. A documentary is produced (funded) by a person or group. That group always has an agenda. Fortunately most have an educational/historical purpose, while others attempt to re-write history.
People in America need to learn how to think and develop opinions of their own without the need to be led around like sheep at pasture.Posted 05-16-2013 at 10:14 AM by Halo -
Hipocrisy in the mainstream media
Getting the "scoop" depends heavily on favorability, which depends heavily on historical news concerning the entity that the station/newspaper wants the insider info from.
Typically a news station/paper models the views of their Editor in Chief, or owner.Posted 05-14-2013 at 10:43 AM by TheOak -
Hipocrisy in the mainstream media
Media is "for profit". This means it works for a business entity & that entity has its own agenda.
MSNBC won't report poorly on (I think) GE
ABC/ESPN won't say anything against Disney
Fox... Well I can't figure them out. Are the just stupid OR are they stupid like a Fox? (Hah - I kill me)Posted 05-11-2013 at 03:55 PM by homerj07 -

The Fifth Down
It might be workable if the requirement was changed to, say, 15 yards... but I say if it ain't broke don't fix it.Posted 12-21-2010 at 02:36 AM by CashAndFlash -

Fair Weather Fans
As a Saints fan, I don't think I will ever be able to just sit back and look at a win as win. I am NOT a coach, but I have their mindset. I pay more attention to the mistakes, than the triumphs.... Maybe the many years of fandom, have warped me completely. I don't know.Posted 10-04-2010 at 12:27 AM by SaintPauly -

The Saints have as good a chance as any body of a repeat. Buffalo went four times in a row, lost them all, but hey.Posted 09-23-2010 at 03:43 PM by macgold -

I've been ready since I was a baby, was hardened by the team over the years and ready to accept anything.
Losing never "feels good" but to expect we'll be Superbowl Champs or have a winning season every year is a pipe dream.Posted 09-22-2010 at 03:59 PM by Halo -
