Margaret Dubuisson wrote Black and Gold today asking if we could help "get the word out" about the New Orleans Saints and Catholic Charities of New Orleans Super Bowl ticket raffle.

The press release read, "Rita Benson LeBlanc and the New Orleans Saints have donated an additional pair of tickets to Super Bowl XLIV to Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans to be raffled to raise money for the organization....

At 10:30am BlackandGold.com broke the story that the New Orleans Saints have signed long time Saints runningback Deuce McAllister a day before the NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Arizona Cardinals.

The signing is a huge boost in morale to all Saints fans as Deuce was not resigned for the 2009 season but remained a fan favorite.

I ran across a betting and prediction blogs today called "Not Qualified to Comment" which should be the name of ESPN - LOL. Anyway, they ran the gauntlet on predictions for the Saints - Cards game picking the Saints over the Cardinals.

The demented, on again / off again, former head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish was proposing that current Notre Dame Quarterback Jimmy Clausen is THE leading candidate for the 2009 Heisman Trophy.
