Counter Measures

Posted 12-16-2013 at 07:35 PM by gomaneasy

You think Payton is just messing with the opposition?
The Pats loss ok.
But a good general always has something up his sleeve.
Two embarrassing losses? When is the last time you can remember that?
I think Sean has got an ace in the hole, and we will see a different team in the playoffs.

Wrapping Up The Regular Season

Posted 12-16-2013 at 04:43 AM by BoudinSandwich

Well, I'm posting to this blog in the aftermath of the loss to the St. Louis Rams. The game was, by all definitions, a "trap game." Now, I know Sean Payton and a few players came out and said there was no way that the game against the Rams was going to be a trap game. They reminded themselves of the history with that team and prepared themselves properly. Unfortunately, the Saints had no choice on whether or not the game was going to be a trap game. It was well beyond their control....

So Who's Super Bowl Bound For The 2013/2014 Season?

Posted 12-08-2013 at 02:00 PM by SmashMouth

AFC
Either Denver Broncos or New England Patriots

NFC
Either Seattle Seahawks or New Orleans Saints

I could see Panzies tie the Saints for the NFC South, but we win on a tie breaker. So Panzies can beat Seattle in Seattle.. and we beat the Panzies at home in the Dome.

As for Denver or New England, it'll come down as to who is clutch at the wire.

Sanity Zone 11-8-2013. Friendly Fire

Posted 11-07-2013 at 01:04 PM by xan

Thomas Hobbes wasn't far off when he described the life of man as "solitary, poor, nasty brutish and short." Feudal societies were cauldrons of darwinistic experiments, where the ruling classes imposed a violence based caste system where only the strong and clever survived. Also key was the narrow definition of loyalty and the broad latitude given to those charged with enforcement. A "one size fits all" mentality in which the size changed to fit the whims of the oppressors....

Poor Run Defense Partially Due to Scheme

Posted 11-04-2013 at 09:59 AM by GeauxNOGeaux

Didn't mean to burden the defense at all by this post. Like I said I am very happy and content with the D this year. I have more fits about our O-Line and Run game more than anything. Defense can only do so much!
