LSU Fans suck, for the most part

LSU is the only undefeated team in the GALAXY that the fans want the coach fired.

LSU fans are the worst in the entire planet, by far.

Seriously. Move to MinnieSoooooota or something... ya'll resemble Viqueen fans.

Ha! All of LSU's mistakes have been coaching issues thus far. The wins have been lucky ones and not earned ones and this slide started last season.

Why don't you move to Minnesota where you can enjoy the mediocracy there. We expect a higher level here.

I really don't understand you sometimes. Do you even understand LSU Football? I don't think you have a clue. LSU fans DEMAND better. When a coach (An LSU Coach) losses to Ole Miss because of a time management play...and to just give you an insight as to how important that game is; it is the Magnolia Bowl; we don't take it well. When you loss to Arkansas; "The Battle of the Boot"; we don't take that well either.

We see Les making the same mistakes over and over. Yes, we are undefeated now. We still have 4 games left that are do or die. Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss and Arkansas.

So just because we expect more out of our team, that makes us the worst fans on the planet..... Maybe, just maybe, because you don't feel that strongly about your team, maybe you aren't really a fan of any sport.

Sometimes, it's better to keep your opinion to yourself.

Being born and raised in the NO area, I'm a big fan of LSU fan. As far as Miles goes, he's done an excellent job of recuriting. His real problem right now is QB. Looks like Lee it the man, but Jefferson going to play too. We are one player/QB away from making a run at the championship. I don't think we can do it, but we have done it with Miles before.

LSU fans are the worse because they expect to win and take losses personally. They love their team so much and second guess everything. They are the biggest cry babies in the world. LSU could be 10-2 every year and LSU fans would still fine a reason to gripe. Nick Saben got sick of it and went to Miami to get away from LSU. Don't believe me? A year later he was in Alabama. Actions speak louder than words.

What really peeves LSU fans is that Saben won a title again while Miles baffoned his way through the season with a very young QB. That spilled over into this season. We still don't have a true #1 QB. Fans started the season with the idea that the season was over before it started. All of this started with a difficult decision made on the release of QB Ryan Perrilloux.

Miles is a pretty good coach. Is he perfect?

I say the Tigers lose 2 of the next 4 games. Will it be enough for Tiger fans? It never is. :???:

papz 10-21-2010 10:29 AM

I believe in 23423546099237th chances.

Les Miles has one of the best jobs in the nation and one of the highest paid coaches in collegiate sports. Criticism comes with the job. If he lets the fan base affect how he coaches and makes decisions, then he needs to roll out and coach in Buffalo. Tiger fans fill that stadium weekly paying his salary... the have the right to say whatever they want. Les Miles gets paid to coach however he wants. Both sides seem to be doing a good job doing whatever the hell they want.

He was temporarily banned for constantly insulting other forum members. You'd think after that, he'd learn his lesson.

Guess not.

They barely beat teams they were supposed to wipe out. Florida is turning out to be a has been team. Does anyone think we could beat Auburn playing the way they have(except against mcneese)?

I've seen a hella lot of coaching errors and one of the biggist ones is trying to play two quarterbacks.

Some said somewhere that we are the worse unbeaten Team in the NCAA.
I find it hard to disagree.

The goal is to get to the Championship Bowl not the Spam Bowl.
Squeaking by teams doesn't "point" well.

Bring on the Playoffs

Halo 10-22-2010 12:51 PM

I think LSU fans are no different than Bama or Florida fans etc. LSU fans ARE different than Ohio State fans who cherish a coach who cannot win the big game and hangs his hat on a goofy QB - no matter how nice of guy he his, I don't think Tressel would be tolerated well in the SEC.

Anyway, LSU fans see concern in that the offensive coordinator is sketchy and there are repeated time clock flaws, regardless of execution, that are never truly corrected. Les is lucky but he does put a good product on the field.

Also, Les can recruit his rear off as LSU is already slated to have the a top 2 recruiting class again this year. What stuns people is with all the recruiting, he hasn't been able to bring in the right QB. Again, I think it has a lot to do with his QB coach/Offensive Coordinator who has a history of being kind of strange. If Les brought in a top notch new coordinator I think LSU would be unstoppable.

st thomas 10-22-2010 01:06 PM

i have 4.3 million reasons to second guess les

All true stuff Halo. When you are a top notch NCAA football program, one loss can ruin your season. So each game is highly scrutinized by fans.

When you are a slacker NCAA football program, just win more games than you lose, most of the time, and you'll be loved.

It really is that simple.

SapperSaint 10-23-2010 08:41 AM

I couldn't have put it any better HALO. Well said.

TopCow 10-23-2010 09:02 AM

I'm with you, Choupique. I lived in BR for nine years and worked in a concession stand at LSU games. In the student section. Wasted drunk, vulgar, thieving, obnoxious trolls-under-the-bridge. Seldom right, always certain, they couldn't even see the game. But that didn't stop them from booing and ridiculing everyone in sight. Insisting that LSU is the premier program in the nation no matter how they perform on the field. Jeez. I left that gig after two seasons.

SapperSaint 10-23-2010 09:14 AM

So you are basing your whole opinion about LSU fans, based on teenaged college kids. Right? Yeah, That makes a whole lot of sense.

I think Les was leaning a little to heavily on his luck that time. Serves him right. Once again his team was totally unprepared. And yes....I'm an LSU fan.

lynwood 10-23-2010 06:22 PM

Definatly poor coahing. Offense Coordinater and Miles need a kick in the butt.

Let's not complain about this loss... we're LSU fans. We need to be fully behind our boys and our head coach. Let's forget about the clock management issues again. Let's ignore we have a putrid offense. Let's forget that we just gave up 400 hundred yards on the ground. We're 7-1 right? Right?

SapperSaint 10-23-2010 07:55 PM

no comment on LSU.

good luck to Auburn, beat Bama, and win it all. Keep the SEC number 1. Auburn QB win the Heisman, you've earned it kid.

We got our ass handed to us today. There goes our BCS hopes... I just don't see fixing our offensive issues any time soon. Good luck to Auburn... Cam Newton and Nick Fairley are animals.

Fairley is a punk. At least 2 roughing calls if it were the NFL. Which is what this board is about. So he should have gotten called. :argue:

Choupique 11-11-2010 03:36 AM

I wonder if the whiney LSU fans still want to fire Les Miles after the shellacking the team gave to Bama'?
