The four LSU players scheduled to meet Monday morning with Baton Rouge police have hired an attorney and put off the meeting. Police spokesman Sgt. Donald Stone told the Associated Press in an email that attorney Nathan Fisher arranged a postponement. Stone did not provide information on a possible new date...

The players in addition to Jefferson were implicated following police interviews with witnesses and the four injured men. They are freshman wide receiver Jarvis Landry, sophomore offensive tackle Chris Davenport and sophomore linebacker Josh Johns.

Davenport and Johns hurt the most if suspended. Otherwise, let Mittenburger start. If JJ started and gets "nervous" throwing some key int's, Mittenburger would come in anyway.

I'm a huge LSU fan next to my Saints. If what they say is true Screw Them throw all those jackasses off the team Period.. what a bunch of dinks. LSU better stand strong on this. I F**king hate *******s like this. I don't care if we have a shot at any bowl game this year. Piss on those players

I just spoke with my father on this. He said they have some video of this going down. I hope so, then they can look back at the video years down the road and realize what they throw away.

I'd suspend Jefferson multiple games, red shirt Landry(which is unfortunate as he can make a solid contribution as a true freshman), and I don't really care what happens to the other two. Johns is a special teams player and Davenport is a 5 star bust now reserve G.

I hope Lee grabs the bull by the Horns and takes full advantage of this situation.

Eyewitness saw LSU's Jefferson kick man in face

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- An eyewitness says she saw LSU starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson kick someone in the face during a bar fight that injured four people last week.

The account from 19-year-old Victoria Long was included in a police report released Thursday, a day after police seized 49 pairs of athletic shoes from Jefferson's apartment. Baton Rouge police Sgt. Don Stone wouldn't explain why police took the shoes.

Stone says no arrests are expected Thursday.

Jefferson and three teammates - offensive lineman Chris Davenport, linebacker Josh Johns and receiver Jarvis Landry - were interviewed by police this week about the fight that occurred in the parking lot of a bar were police say numerous LSU players were gathered.
