LSU loses Gunner Kiel to Notre Dame

this is a discussion within the College Community Forum; I'd don't like the fact that Kelly Platoons QB. I like Tommy Rees, he has been great for ND. I think Kelly is going to kill him....

IDK, I don't see all the fuss .... we all know Michigan is gonna' be National Champs next season .... or MSU, either or, LoL! .... you guys know I'm joking, right?
LSU has a REAL QB starting for them next year in Zach Mettinburger. I think Kiel was looking at 2 years on the bench.

From what I've heard and read about him, he's the REAL DEAL. If Phillip River's younger brother sits bench behind Mettinburger, he's probably good.

That's what I was thinking that he figured he wasn't going to start in front of Mettinburger. One of my compadres up here brought up the whole 'red-shirt' argument too and the fact Notre Dame doesn't officially red-shirt players either. Seems like Gunner is in a hurry to get some exposure and to the NFL, to me anyway.
