I am a die hard LSU Tiger, but I have to say this is one of the saddest days in the history of college football. But I know ole Joe Pa is up in heaven right now with the Bear and they are coaching up some of the greats. My heart and prayers go out to all of Joe Pa's family and to the Penn State Family as well.

Thanks Joe for all the wonderful years you gave all college football fans.

My condolences and best wishes to Joe's friends and family.

A lot of us, in our respective professions, would love to say we built something truly monumental out of literally nothing. And served as a good parent and role model to other young people. Joe Pa did it all and then some. And to me he showed contrition and sorrow for what occurred with Sandusky.

What's really aweful is how he spent his last 6 months in utter hell for the actions of another. Having PENN State ripped away and his legacy tarnished. Very sad, he probably gave up when he got sick. R.I.P.

^^^^^^

That is what makes his passing even the more sadder.

Not only Penn State but College football in general has lost a great coach. RIP and God Speed, Joe PA.
