In this story on SECcountry.com posted Friday, Carter said his recruiting came down to Alabama and Ole Miss, which made a late push, and LSU was never in his top 3. But he also said he has a specific dislike of LSU. "When I signed with Alabama, LSU fans, they were bad-mouthing me a lot, just because I was an in-state prospect," Carter said. When asked if he considered LSU, he said, "Nah, I just don't like 'em. There's something about 'em I just don't like. I mean, LSU's a great school, phenomenal school, but it's just something personal I don't like about 'em." Yep, or brushed him off. No telling with Les Miles & company. I'm sure there is another side to the story. Nonetheless, can't blame kids for wanting to play ball and go to school out of state. It happens.

How can you boo any kid that goes to an out of state school? Hey, I'm an LSU fan and I don't hold anything against this kid or any other kid that plays elsewhere besides LSU. If you are a pretty good player in the SEC, you will make it to the NFL. How can you blame a kid for going to a team that year in and year out are playing for a National Championship? Even with the dislike I have for Bama, I don't blame him.
