Hard to get any love when you're down the road from Red Stick, but I loved watching both these teams this year even if Tulane beat my mom & grandpaw's alma mater.

Good job to all the players, coaches & staff to both pretty cool small conference schools.

Why? So Sean can give him 5 carries a game?

He's going have to. Brees can't run and his arm strength for the deep ball isn't there.Opposing D's will eat our lunch, the dink and dunk will work to a point but our D better be top notch with a top notch run game for Brees to be effective.I get the frustation. We need a thumper and Kamara(who has a totally different skill set) ain't it. Nothing new to me I've wanted a Henry type back for years that is where Brees and Kamara could thrive. A 2 back set with Brees under C would open up play action keepin D's honest. I'm really surprized he didn't run more of a 2 back set with Murry

Trey Ragas, RB, Cajuns - 5'10" 218 lbs. 3rd-5th Rd projection. Can catch outta the backfield, too. His Combine will only make his stock go up as I dont really see him falling past the 6th regardless of a bad Combine.

Raymond Calais, RB, Cajuns - 5'9" 185 lbs. 4th-6th Rd projection. Smallish but versatile, just not as much as Ragas from what I saw. Interesting to see what his measurables will be.

Cajuns OLine was pretty good and nearly all of them showed versatility playing in different positions. 1 or 2 will be late round picks.

Thakarius Keyes, CB, Wave - 6'1" 200 lbs. 4th-6th Rd projection. Raw but good size. Good open field tackler but needs some work in technique & ball skills.

Don't sleep on Mitchell pretty good power back himself.

Mitchell has great size 5'11" 217 lbs and is a junior. Should come back for senior year and be a pretty good back this coming season...all he does is score TDs.

2 star recruit outta high school but I think he lost a star with missing games due to injury. He's worked his way up so he still has good upside. They will lose the senior Calais, so if Ragas (R-Jr) comes back he and Mitchell will be a great tandem.

I'd like to see a Ragas/Mitchell backfield but I dont think the Sun Belt would...2 big fast dudes behind a good line. That OLine is losing their RG & LT to graduation, so we'll see how well they do replacing them.

6' 0", 4.7 40? he knows the game, but lightening hitting twice? Brees had other measurables that offset the height...
