Sold My House....

Sorry I haven't been here lately. I sold my house and took the equity before the housing totally market crashed.
The move like to kill me.

It has been reported that over 5 million houses are 90 days late on their mortgage, and that the entire housing market is ready to take another large dip. I wanted to cash out before my house's equity went to crap. In any case, I'm now living in a very nice apartment for almost 1/2 the monthly note. When the housing market completely crashs, I'll look for something. Hopefully interest rates will stay low enough. I know it was risky but I couldn't stand to lose anymore of the $100,000 in equity I have.

Actually I'm looking to upgrade my 108" HDTV projection TV because the old unit died in the move. Epson is the highest rated for the money unless you want to spend a lot more. What do you guys think?

"Installed this projector upstairs on the ceiling 14 feet away from the screen. Installed a 119" screen. We watch it about 14 feet away. Fantastic picture quality. Installed a blue ray player and the picture is crystal clear with no screen door effect. Black level is very good. The best purchase I ever made. Have a 65" big scrren behind the scrren and what a difference in impact watching a movie."

"The 8350 is awesome , it is my first Home Cinema Projector , so lots of research , in store evaluations for several months . The 8350 is powerful , bright image , I am using an Accuscreen with 120in. the Blu ray image is spectacular . Out of the box , 5 min later is installed and ready for adjustments , which are very simple . Do not worry too much about location , in front of you on a table or slightly on the side , it does not matter it has enough resources for a perfect image and screen size adjustments. For this image and quality , the price is quite low compared to the competition . Strongly recommend it for these demanding viewers ."

"I have been a CTR devotee for many years and loved it. I have owned three three gun projectors and loved them. Room ambient light was always a concern. Out of the box, this projector is spectacular and my wife loves not having to live in a cave. High noon, windows and doors open, VERY WATCHABLE!!! Projecting 120""

Oh yea... the wife still thinks I'm nuts. She wants me to get a new bulb for the old one $150. :whatever:

Did you really expect anybody to read all that?

Check the price of the replacement lamp before you buy it. I bought a Panasonic DLP projection tv several years back, and found out 13 months later (after the warranty expired) that you can only buy the lamps from Panasonic and they cost $330 each. After the third lamp, I sold the TV to some sucker at a garage sale.

You mean your wife kicked you out of the house correct? And you are living in a federally funded free apartment while working at Waffle House? Just to be clear.

Forget about that projector crap and get a real TV.

What makes you think I could qualify for a high paying job like Waffle House?
That screen is almost as big as my projection. You have screen envy.
