Javaris Crittenton, a free agent looking for an NBA job, is wanted in connection with an Aug. 19 shooting that left an Atlanta woman dead.

According to authorities, Crittenton believed he was shootiing at the man who previously robbed him in April, but instead struck 23-year-old Julian Jones, a mother of four who was walking near her home, in the leg with a bullet he fired from inside his SUV. She died later in surgery, meaning Crittenton will be charged with homicide. He's also the guy who got into a gun standoff with Gilbert Arenas while playing for Washington, so it's safe to say his NBA career is officially over. Crittenton is not yet in custody and is believed to be in Los Angeles.

That's why I have zero use for the NBA.

I know, I know, there's some in every sport, but that type of lifestyle is rampent in the NBA. If the NBA ceased to exist today, I wouldn't miss it a bit.
