My Mailbox...

A kid hit my mailbox Saturday night. I was in the house and heard this BOOOOOM!!! My little girl asked me "What was that?" I told her “That was my mailbox!” I knew immediately what it was because I’ve heard that sound before. I ran outside in case they were trying to drive off, but this car wasn’t going anywhere. This is what the damage looked like Sunday morning. If you look at the first and second picture, you can see my neighbor’s house across the street. I found bricks in his yard, close to his garage. The black streak in my yard and in the street is his engine oil. Must of been hot rodding daddy's BMW!(or what's left of it):doh: Expensive screw up there Sarge!I can honestly say I've Never saw a scene like that involving a MAILBOX!!!!Are you going with a bigger mailbox??lol Glad the kid didn't get hurt!I'm sure he may have got tossed around when he got home.Again,good luck with that Sarge.Wow talk about annihilation!
One more thing I'd suggest taking a picture when you get your new one in place...Put pads and a helmet on your next one and you should be fine. :smile: |
