So, a few years ago, the "Ahnold" administration renamed the 18 cent California gas tax. The reason they did this is because, as previously named it HAD to be used for certain things...like road repair.

So by renaming it, the politicians in Cali were able to use that money for 'other things'. Uh huh. Riiiiight...

So now the state is projecting a 300 BILLION dollar short for things like...you guessed it...road repair.

The solution? California wants to raise the gas tax. This is the kind of insanity that drives me insane.
