It was 'risk-taker' night on this episode ... everybody was getting out of their boats, Willy kills a gator with a pocket knife, Troy's jumping levees with his boat, Liz & Kristi are wading neck deep in a canal looking for a gator ... they sure do know how to keep the viewer's attention.

Following up on the 'jumping a levee' thing ... you can get in trouble for that up here, circumventing a natural/manmade barrier (don't ask how I know), but is it Ok in Louisiana? I was thinking with the importance of the levee system, they may have filmed Troy in an illegal act and possibly gotten him a fine or something.

Anyone?

Those levees are usually under water. I don't think it is a big deal, or he wouldn't have let them film it.

This is the best show on TV. I hope they are going to put the Guist Brothers back on there. I love those guys.

My youngest daughter loves Willey!

Yeah, as much as I like Troy, when Willy killed that gator with a knife, he got my vote. The Guist Brothers are listed on the cast for this season, so they should be on now & again.

I wonder what happened to Mike Kliebert and his son, I liked him and his people.

Re: Swamp People

Apologize for raising a dead thread, but this is important, ... I'm looking for a pair of white shrimper boots similiar to what Joe LaFont wears on Swamp People ... white, mid-calf with a larger opening at the top of the calf so they slip on/off easier. The ones I find around here are more of a deck style and too tight on my calves. Norcross has 'em online, but not like Joe's.

Are they in the local stores around the Gulf? Any help is appreciated, brand, style, et... .

Also know as Delcambre Reeboks, you can buy them at gas stations in some of the small coastal towns. They are white shrimpers boots.

Re: Swamp People

I watch it over here in the UK aswell.
Great show,I don't see the need for the subtitles personally.Just listen to what people say and you'll soon catch the accent. Its the same here though, people in the south need help with some scouse(liverpool) or string Scottish/Northern Irish accents.
