Re: Recipes?

While definitely give that a shot during the football season... love the buffalo flavor.

A hangover soup/meal

Congee
1 cup jasmine rice
6 cups of water/chicken broth
2 table spoons of salt
3 pieces of cubed ginger
1 or 2 pieces of chicken breast(raw is fine if not use a roto chicken and tear it in there)

Boil water in pot along with ginger. Add chicken. If raw, slice it up and let it cook for a bit. Some of the fat will boil out and just scoop it from the top. Add rice and salt. If one with cooked chicken, just throw it all in the pot at the same time. Let it cook for about 40 minutes and it should be ready. It should come out looking something like this.

As far as thickness of the soup, it you like it more soupy, add more water. If you like it thicker, just like it cook down some more.

Add salt and pepper to taste if you find it bland. Throw some green onions on top and enjoy. Very simple to make and an alternative to chicken noodle soup for hangovers or just feeling under the weather. Ginger in the congee should help with nausea.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.
