Hey everyone. Some of you I know, some I don't, some I tried to forget. lol Thanks to mutineer hitting me up I decided to stop back and drop a line, and make sure everyone was safe with Isaac copping a squat over the city. Hope the power comes back on quickly for those without. My mom is here with me safe and out of town but the majority of the fam stayed in the city. I'll be around more to talk with you guys for sure. Just be safe everybody!!!

I think its going to take a while for the folks to check in, do to all the power outages.

Ha. I'm still alive. Thankfully. I see you guys are still around. Good to see. Hope anyone effected by Isaac can get through it safely and as quickly as possible.

Yes, power is out. Cell phones work and tablets and things, but people have to have car chargers, generators.
I hope all for everyone's fam/friends there. For us who are not living in N.O. , we still understand and are concerned.

My brother lives in Bay St Louis. He's going home today. He had some minor roof damage, and water at his house was 8 feet high, but his home is elevated (he's right on the water) and he managed to move all his stuff above the garage so he's good. They should (hopefully) have electricity restored today.

My pops in Gentilly it still without power. Grandma uptown has power. Some in the east have power. Hope they working around the clock on it.

People in da east have some new wiring. I'm uptown and got power last night. It eventually will come on.

With more than 700,000 homes out of power in the metro area, it will take some time. My prayers his gets turned on.
