he shoud not be able to now capitalize on being honest, admitting. He has lived a 100 years on the phony Tour de France wins so he has had the good life.

People always find out.
There is no way around using drug enhancements and not have the sports ' officials fin d out. Too much testing. Random testing. Too many people willing to sell you out.

All cyclists , and I mean all, past and present, use perfomance enhancers. It has been going on since forever going back to Eddie Merckx, Bernard Hinault, etc... Lance was singled out because he won so many and beat them at their own game.

Lance mastered his craft, and he was an American dominating a European sport.


Look at the forehead of Clay Matthews.... Now "try" and tell me how much HGH he has not done.

Baseball, football, cycling.... It's not about who partake a in performance enhancing drugs, it's who does it best.

Armatrong established a doping empire! He did not just dope himself.

While it is true that it was very sophisticated, to imply that it was he, and he alone, that conjured up this master scheme is a bit of stretch, IMHO.

The methods of detection were woefully lacking in the earlier days. They are better today, but still not where they need to be. Remember, Lance never tested positive. More recently, Contrador tested positive, yet his title was not stripped as it should have been. Even the infamous Jan Ullrich whom finished second to Lance a time or two was partaking.

For the record, I am a Tour de France fan. In case you did not know, I am from France. So I too have a unique perspective.

I am wondering why they just don't legalize it. They are all doping, some get caught, some don't.

Im with you, legalize all of this stuff, cocane, pot, drugs,crack, I really dont care.
Stop spending billions fighting it, and start making billions off the taxes, and policing it to make it safer.

The Netherlands make a hell lot of money in taxes since they legalized dope. But let cocaine and other hard drugs in the illegal list, please!

Coming back to doping: you can't stop it, because everybody wants to go higher, faster and better. They have to, because their opponents do so

Make bicycles illegal and no one would dope...



Treat them like guns.

There are a few things in this world about which I care even less than I care about Lance, cycling, and doping by Lance in cycling, but not many.

Omg they make so much money, jobs,industry, cheaper, and its safer. I dont agree with not everything though. I dont even agree with laws for seat belts. If someone wants to kill themselves thats their own stupidity, and hopefully before they breed.
I do think that if you allow it all the penaties for miss uses or manslaughter should be increased substantialy. If you wipe a person on the highway high on cocaine, well your going to be put to death. If your dumb enouph to kill yourself, well who cares.

You cant ban cocaine,pot, herroin, etc, and allow alcohal, cigarets, chewing tobaco. Those products cause way more deaths.

Its a stupid as Texas where lawn darts are outlawed, but you can walk around with a beer and a handgun.

either stop it all on the premiss of a mortal high ground, or allow the people the freedom to be idiots.
