How to make the ultimate Po'Boy | Fox News

Thought it would be shameful but not a bad story. It's all about the Bread. Get outside of NO and you can't find the same quality I agree. My wife and I went to the first annual Poboy fest a while back and man, that was the best one I ever had. Roast beef, hand dripping, big mess towards the end and the bread...soft chewy, flaky. Sooo good.

We got out to Parkway Bakery last Sunday for some fried shrimp po'boys & fries. Always fine eatin'.

A local restaurant I frequent has pretty good bread and coleslaw. I always order a shrimp basket and pile shrimp/coleslaw between two slices of bread and maw down. Had to explain to the waitstaff that it's a 'poor man's' po-boy. Now they'll ask me if I want tomato slices with my shrimp basket, :lol:.
