Avoided this thread until I saw season 3 on Netflix. I love this show.

I was sad to see Andrea go, she was hot.

Whats up with Carl and Beth? They've forshadowed something goin on, if you know what I mean.

And why not just attract all the walkers around the prison to the fence and drive a sword thru their skull? Keep the area clean.

I give season 3 a B-minus. Still one of the better shows on TV.

Now on to Supernatural season 8 and Fringe season whatever! I love Netflix.

Thats kind of the premise of season 4 except the walkers arent spreading out anymore and are attacking in packs, therefore the prison gates will eventually crumble

Agreed with what you said about beth and carl, only thing i would add is there seems to be alot of anamosity brewing between carl and rick, beth kissed rick on the cheek and carl didnt look impressed lol

In my opinion, the second half of season 3 slightly let down an exciting first 8 episodes with drawn out episodes

However based on the trailer and some sneak peeks, season 4 looks like its going to be as good as season 2 was (my favourite), action packed and relentless

*POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERTS*

Well, I was a little disappointed in the season premiere ... or maybe it was the Saints loss earlier that had me kind of "blah" ... but there seemed to be a little too much 'romance' going on ... even Darryl commented on it, ... everyone seemed to be pairing up and getting comfortable, blech! Hopefully it's just "affect" for the major carnage to come later on ... the walker's falling through the ceiling in the warehouse was a pretty good scene and Michon's search for the Governor is intriguing ... I'm still "in", .

I see what you're saying about the romance and all, but I just look at it as the group trying to live somewhat more normal lives as they possibly can. You could be on to something about this scenario adding more carnage later on. I could see more slip-ups happening later on that cause a lot of deaths within the group due to "feelings". I guess I wasn't too disappointed with the first episode, because of the excitement that the new season was finally beginning. It wasn't great, but I think it will get a lot better.

Re: The Walking Dead thread RESURRECTED!

The first episode was just "putting the various balls on the tee". I watched that crackhead after the show on the talking dead and they had a producer that said the season intensity gets cranked up real quick with the various story lines in the next few episodes.

In the trailer, herschel is the voice over and he says "we just lost 12 of our own, 2 more were killed in cood blood"

The romance won't last long, next episode when that zombie kid is found it will all kick off i believe

I actually enjoyed the first episode, that woman that tried to kill rick was really messed up

Re: The Walking Dead thread RESURRECTED!

Did they ever identify who was leaving the rats out by the fence? I thought it was the more loopy of the two daughters who Carol tried to coerce into killing their father before he 'turned', which I think Carol is getting a little loopy herself with her secretive story time/knife tactics-101 class for kids.

I'm (figuratively) getting a little too cooped up in that prison, especially now with the flu-like zombie symptoms floating around. It might be time to go back out on the road, IMO. Glad to see Rick stop farming and coming out of his funk somewhat.

I dont think the prison will last for much longer to be honest slo, it was good to see Rick put the rake down and get his gunbelt out, back to good old walker killing rick

As for tyreeses missus being burnt at the end, wow.....just wow
