At the least this 'woman?' should be sterilized!

*********************************************************

A 24-year-old Pennsylvania woman abandoned her 8-month-old daughter in the woods with the hopes of getting “a fresh start,” according to police.

Jennifer Cutruzzula was spotted by a neighbor walking into the woods with her child, only to emerge alone. The neighbor called police and went into the woods and found the baby girl on a muddy hillside next to a bottle of milk.

“She walked into this area with the intention of abandoning the child,” said Alleghany County District Attorney Stephen Zappala.

Cutruzzula told police she left her child because she wanted “a fresh start,” according to a criminal complaint.

Authorities say the infant is fine after being treated and released from a local hospital. The baby is currently in the custody of Child and Youth Services, according to WPXI-TV Pittsburgh.

Cutruzzula is charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering. She is being held on $50,000 bail.

Zappala said the Pittsburgh-area woman will undergo a mental evaluation.

That neighbor is a hero, I'm glad they found that baby. What a headcase, I hope that child can find a good adoptive home and is the one who gets a fresh start.

Things like that happens when mental care is not what it used to be. Lobotomy would give her the fresh start she wants.

Probably the best option.
I agree however, with lobotomy, sterilization, and target practice.

Speaking of target practice, how is your collection coming along?

Not good. Everytime I find the one I like on line, Academy and Bass Pro-shops are sold out.

I'm hoping its just a panic phase and all the stores eventually get re-stocked.

I'm too ignorant about them to buy from a pawn shop, so I'm sure I'll overpay But I'd feel more comfy buying from one of those chains, especially for my 1st one.

My current fave is a S&W M&P Shield

Thoughts?

Let me know what you are looking for, the problem with the chain stores is that they have inside guys calling friends to come get certain guns as soon as they arrive. That Shield comes in .40 and 9mm.

A little hint on gun purchase economics. I shop gunbroker.com for a few reasons. 1. Buy from out of state and I do not have to pay sales tax , what ever the price is add $25 for a FFL transfer, $25 for shipping, and some times 2%-3% for a CC transaction... On a $750 gun the economics are $65 on top of the gun purchase buying out of state, 66.75 if you pay sales tax.... I get around the CC fee by calling the store that is listed as selling the gun on GB and tell them I am looking for X, not mentioning GB, and do an over the phone CC transaction.

However you can nearly always find what you are looking for. S&W shows the retail around $460, may be able to get it cheaper through an auction.

Have you held that pistol? I recently sold my Sig MK25 because I apparently have t-rex thumbs and had to rotate the pistol to reach the de-cocker. So I am sticking with 1911 models. My paws also extend down below the magwell on most compacts.

Here is a picture of my Nighthawk Custom Knights Templar #29 of 100. Its a collectable.
