Oh, you don't have to worry about me.... I live in Texas and will immediately reoccupy the Alamo. 😁 History will guide my battle plan

Re: Any Preppers out there?

Watched an episode of DDP this morning getting dressed for work.. OMG that is some funny stuff.

So this couple that fears the melting of the Greenland Ice Sheet decided to pack up and move to the highest desert elevation in Texas that they could... The Chihuahuan Desert at roughly 5500 ft in altitude so they could escape the flood. Which according to paleoclimate data would take around 13,000 years.

Problem is that there is none of what they are running from where they are now.. Water.. LOL

They are living a camper and building their home out of trash and tires.

I was walking out the door when the snake hunter showed up to teach them how to catch rattlers for food, water (blood), and poison for their spear tips.

its those crazy ones that make the rest of us look crazy. I have a garden and some chickens some extra food stored, guns, ammo but I plan on staying where I am because we're already in the country. My house looks normal no visible preps but when and if the shtf i'm as ready as i can be. if it doesn't then I know I bought insurance I didn't need as always

Here is a story about a person i know personally.

Went to a flea market and bought $500 worth of seeds in PVC tubes..

Decided to build a safe room and line the walls inside with Kevlar.
My Comment: Sounds like a plan... Until I cut through your Kevlar with my Swiss Army knife.

He also keeps a stock of silver bullion (not the cubes you make soup with ) he believes that his silver will be the new currency in Thunder Dome..
My Comment: What are ya going to do... Shave off a piece to buy some more Kevlar?
