There is no "national crisis" in regards to bullying. Certain groups are just trying to make it one. Children have treated each other the same way for centuries. With peer pressure. Judgment is human nature and a fact of life.

My oldest daughter has "standing orders" to beat the crap out of someone that is bullying another kid. As does my middle daughter.

Now I am talking about a bigger kid picking on a smaller one or a kid(s) picking on/making fun of a handicaped child.

I teach my kids to be defenders of those that can't defend themselves.

we used to gang up on... and knock the snot out bullies when we were kids.

payback is how you deal with bullies. end of story.
