Memorial Day
this is a discussion within the Everything Else Community Forum; Please be safe when enjoying your Memorial Day activities. We need all of you back on tomorrow. Teach your children that Memorial Day is not a day of celebration, it is a day of remembrance for all of the fallen ...

Memorial Day
Please be safe when enjoying your Memorial Day activities. We need all of you back on tomorrow.
Teach your children that Memorial Day is not a day of celebration, it is a day of remembrance for all of the fallen soldiers that have died while giving service to our country. Those who sacrificed their lives so everyone else can live free. |

I'd like to thank not only those who died in the line of duty, but also those surviving veterans, as well as those who currently serve.
Times are tough and Memorial Day celebrations and parades are getting more scarce each year. Too much overhead from required security has specifically cut back events this year. I wrote a blog post today asking everyone to reach out to friends and family and thank them for giving their sons and daughters to defend our country and freedoms. |
