Dude that's not cool...at all...

If you read all the way to the bottom you will note that she wasn't sold an iPad with someone else's personal info on it. She was sold a demo iPad that Apple preloads with files for customers to use when taking the device for a test drive.

Worse yet, another report indicates the "B" noticed the label stating that it was a demo but instead of simply returning it to the store, she called a reporter a fabricated the story to get her 10 minutes of fame.

She best be careful because Apple plays hard ball. Just ask the guy who "found" a pre-release iPhone in a bar and sold it to Gizmodo.

Since she's a policewoman, she likely handcuffed the offending Target employee...

Yeah, they updated it a few days after the original article. I initially thought she may have bought a refurbished iPad that had been sold as "new" ... I hope Apple isn't too rough on her, I've been to Waterloo, ON ... it's a nice place/good people, :mrgreen:.
