They should allow some sort of fighting in all sports, JMO, :) ... but then, do you really want to watch two golfers, tennis players or a coupla' curlers go at it? :lol:

Yep, Islanders are on fire! Something like five in a row for the Wings, :( ... here's an interesting stat: they haven't beat the Islanders at home since 2003 ... ? ... who'da thunk? I thought it was a good omen for Detroit getting Franzen back in the lineup and then Zetterberg scoring the first goal (breaking his scoring drought), but I guess not, :neutral:.

We got a sportstalk announcer from New York and he's a huge, Huge, HUGE Islander fan ... his program Monday is going to be unbearable, :lol:.

I just hope it last. It's been tough being an Islander fan, for about 20 years or so. How's my man Jimmy Howard doing this year? He's a great goalie

Yeah, really ... those were some great teams from the '70s/'80s. Hopefully they can keep it up, :). Howie was doing Ok, steady-as-she-goes & giving 'em a chance to win most nights ... got a 'lower body injury' vs the Islanders and is sitting out for a bit ... you know how they keep that stuff close-to-the-cuff, ;).
