Well, maybe not the BEST thing in fashion history but the folks at Rainzydaze Guide Service in International Falls, Minn., nailed these custom Nike shoes.

We’re assuming someone from the fishing guide company in northern Minnesota designed and bought these or a patron had them. That’s besides the point…just enjoy these beauties:

My feet stink bad enough already; I don't need people thinking I am wearing dead fish for shoes!

But the graphics on them are good; can you order them with whatever species of fish you want on them?

Some bad news, my Black & Gold fashionista's ... I too thought you would be able to get any species of fish, ie walleye, striper, sm bass (but who would really want to?

), musky, pike, et ... but upon placing a call to Nike, that apparently isn't so.

They are aware of that particular shoe, but do not produce it or offer that type of customization via their NIKEiD website,

. However, I do not give up that easy ... follow ups have been placed with RainyDaze Guide Service of International Falls, MN, authors of the original post and I may just take a road trip if I don't get a satisfactory response,

Gonna' forward that pic to a couple of my graphic art buds who paint lures/crankbaits for a living and see what they think. Nike did suggest that customers typically modify their shoes, putting them up for sale on Etsy, but I did not see anything like those ... the search continues ...

Only if you use something like this on 'em,

(it's for dipping your plastic baits in to give 'em scent).
