Coast to Coast Legend Art Bell Passes Away at 72
 

Art Bell has died on Friday the 13th. The legendary late-night radio host, who spent decades at the helm of his massively popular interview and call-in show, Coast To Coast AM (since 1988), calmly listening and questioning as his guests and callers outlined every damn conspiracy theory, alien abduction idea, and off-the-wall opinion that happened to cross their minds, was 72.

I listened to Art Bell for years... after midnight... couldn't sleep... needed to listen to something... what better... AM and space aliens plus 100% thinking outside the box. RIP Art... let us know what is on the other side. :shock:

RIP Art Bell!

If anyone is reading this and is still smoking, please find a way to stop for your own sake. So many people are suffocating to death from COPD, and it's a horrible way to die.

Barbara Bush is ailing due to COPD. Not sure if she is/was a smoker.

I spent some time on the phone with Art back in the day - the early days of radio automation systems. He was always a pleasure to work with. His show didn't resonate with me but he did. RIP Mr Bell.

I seem to recall Tool putting the caller portion of that at the end of one of their CD's. I want to say that's where I had I heard it before. That guy was either a great actor, or he believed what he was saying.
