You can imagine my surprise today when I logged in to Entergy | The Power of People to pay my power bill and found:

Important Scam Alert! A scam has spread that the president will pay your Entergy bill. Don't use the account numbers provided by scammers. Your account won't be paid and extra fees could be added.

Entergy Utility Companies

... you discover:

There is a bill payment scam spreading throughout social media and word-of-mouth. The scam claims the president of the United States or the government is allowing credits or applying payments to customers’ utility bills. Scammers are telling customers to make a payment to Entergy using a bank routing number they provide.

Who is behind this disgusting, devious falsehood? Mitt Romney? Roger Goodell? Freemasons? SCIENTOLOGISTS???

More importantly, why will the government pay everybody's power bill except mine??? The truth is out there, we have a right to know ...
