Roseville is right by me ... I'm in the process of trying to identify the property as we speak,.

Personally, I think he's in the foundation of the Renaissance Center ... 150ft down in the concrete, can't x-ray it, can't dig it up and they just happened to be pouring those foundations back when he disappeared ... but should they find him, I'll do my best to get a B&G exclusive and some rare, never seen footage or something,.

Re: Search For Hoffa Continues

... I just thought about something ... two of the 'families' that were allegedly tied to his disappearance had businesses in Roseville ... it's such a nondescript place, at first when I heard it, it didn't make much sense, but now ... finding Jimmy Hoffa is like the equivalent of proving there's a BigFoot or LochNess monster for us around here,.

UPDATE: Ground Zero, 18705 Florida St, Roseville MI 48066.

I put the pinch on an informant I've used in the past and got a general location, "Florida St. & Kelly Rd, 1 block south of the Roseville Library and 1 block west of Gratiot Ave" ... I waited until the cover of darkness and made my way to the suburbs. It wasn't hard to find, the place was lousy with cops & TV crews ... well, actually only one squad car and the WDIV Channel 4 News van that looked like it was just parked there and unoccupied. They only had one strip of police tape across the entrance to the driveway Hoffa is allegedly buried under, so I walked up to the front door to get the street address ... easy-peasy-lemon-squeezie. I did make a few observations ...

1) The house is located approximately 1/2 mile from one of the businesses I mentioned above ... the Spaghetti Palace (no longer there) ... I worked there as a pizza-boy in high school and believe me, guys with suits were in the kitchen & the backrooms all the time.

2) The cement covering the area Hoffa is allegedly buried under has never been replaced, yet both slabs adjacent to it and the sidewalk in front of it have all been redone. The middle slab has been allowed to fall into disrepair ... hmm ... if you know anything about Italians, they're all about cement and typically won't let any cement on their property get in that bad of shape ... seems odd to me that middle slab was never replaced.

Tommorrow they start the excavation, I'll have to park down the street and walk into Ground Zero if I can get near. This is big ... big like 'Geraldo opening Al Capone's vault' big,.

Any truth to a rumor he may lay resting in the Superdome foundation?

ROSEVILLE, Mich. - Soil samples taken from a Roseville backyard in connection with a search for the remains of Jimmy Hoffa show no sign of the presence of human remains.

Investigators pulled the samples Friday acting on a tip that the remains of the missing Teamsters boss Hoffa could be buried beneath a slab of concrete.

Hoffa was last seen July 30, 1975, outside a restaurant in Oakland County, more than 30 miles to the west. The day he disappeared, Hoffa was supposed to meet with a New Jersey Teamsters boss and a Detroit mafia captain.

...<sigh> ... another wild-goose-chase ... I suppose we will go on, like O.J. Simpson, searching for the 'real killers', or the body, or whatever ... he very well could be in the foundation of the Superdome, who handles all the big cement contracts down there?

An old, weathered Italian lady gave me a new twist on the Hoffa disappearance. She speculated that his death was faked and that he spent the rest of his days in Italy. Her reasoning was that Jimmy Hoffa himself was a mafia boss and they would not have murdered him. Interesting twist to an old story. I pointed out to her that I had seen all the relevant mafia movies, ie Godfather I - III, Goodfellas, Casino, Mobsters, Little Caesar, et... and rest assured, they 'offed' him ... oh well, the mystery remains, Where is Jimmy Hoffa?.

I hate to "dig" up old threads, but this is the 'family' that owned/ran the restaurant I referred to in post #4, the Zerilli's. Too many leads are popping up now ... we're gonna' find ol' Jimmy, I can feel it in my bones,.

DETROIT (AP) — A man convicted of crimes as a reputed Mafia captain is claiming missing Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa was buried in suburban Detroit.

Tony Zerilli was in prison when Hoffa disappeared from a Detroit-area restaurant in 1975, but tells New York TV station WNBC he was informed about Hoffa's whereabouts after his release. The ailing 85-year-old took a reporter to a field near Rochester, north of Detroit, but no exact location was disclosed. The report was also aired on Detroit's WDIV.

, I don't think he's gonna' make it, but I'm doing my best to get a fix on whatever location ol' Anthony Zerilli coughed up,. It's been my life's folly ... to be there when they actually do find Mr. Hoffa,.

As I read through this, the obvious hits be in the face like a red hot black iron skillet on a frozen morning before I have had my coffee.

Could someone remind me why are we spending taxpayers money to look for someone that has been "presumed dead" for nearly 40 years?

Does he have Obama's birth certificate in his left breast pocket?

Hoffa "fed the fishes", and you'll not find anything.

The 85 year old man probably cant find his house keys much less a 38 year old grown over hole.

Because it's an open homicide investigation? You know, there's not a whole lot to do around here in the wintertime besides ice fish & look for Jimmy Hoffa, especially when the NHL is on strike. I need you guys to support me on this one,.
