Who Won the Debate? Piers Morgan vs Alex Jones
 

This would be funny if were comedy but Jones is serious. What are your thoughts? Do you agree that assault weapons should be banned? Since guns don't kill people... people kill people. Guns protect us from tyranny. Alex makes some great points. CNN has guest that come on after to make Alex look like the kind of person that shouldn't have a gun period.

I understand the appeal of owning a military-style/grade weapon, but IMO, the risks of the wrong people getting one outweighs the privilege of having one.

I really wouldn't call it a debate. Piers didn't get the *British accent* "proper debate" he mentioned. As if he expected that to happen against a man who wants him deported, much less the ranting Alex Jones!

I found this whole thing entertaining because in the aftermath of Sandy Hook CNN and Piers have been politicking non-stop for gun control. So instead of the usual propaganda on CNN we get to see Alex unload on Piers. In a way, Piers comes off looking good as he's calm despite the boisterous attacks from Alex (and no, it's not hard to remain calm against Alex, think of how much money Piers probably makes). But does he really look good? They stopped their precious spin machine for 8+ minutes to let a certain enemy in Alex Jones rant and rave on their dollar.

Alex was in a no-win situation ... if he doesn't rant and tries a proper debate, he's a sellout and not doing what he does best. So he does what does and brings his InfoWars rants to CNN, at Piers' expense and even if he looks crazy, because he can :).

I'm beginning to think Piers Morgan is like the Skip Bayless of ESPN ... looking like a clown on his own show ...
