Posted 10-06-2007 at 12:27 PM by Halo

The Terrace of the Superdome was again filled with colorful characters and the excitement was charged with the smell of football, nachos, and booze. Dome Foam has a special odor, especially when it's mixed with fresh...

TE
Eric Johnson - 28
John Owens - 27
Billy Miller - 30
Ronnie Ghent - 27
Mark Campbell - 31 (IR)

I actually like the group as a unit. Like the defensive unit some youth would be nice. Johnson has teased us with his abilities at TE and we have yet seen him do half the things he can do.

Draft watch

Darius Hill*, Ball State, 6-6, 233, 4.67, Ball State in the 4th

WR
Marques Colston - 24
David Patton - 33...

The number of drops has been atrocious, but much of that can be attributed to a very young wideout corps. The line is solid, despite Reggie. If we need anything on offense it's a good tight end, but Miller has shown good pass catching ability in a pinch so it's not pressing.

Sean Payton..Offensive Coordinator..Not Head Coach

Posted 12-30-2007 at 05:14 PM by abutler
Sean Payton is a scientist when it comes to drawing up plays. He's also reliable in doing his homework on stats and percentages, and he ensures everything looks good on paper. However; games aren't won on paper. Games are won by much more. One especially important intangible that Sean Payton lacks is feel. This has been OBVIOUSLY EVIDENT since he brought the Saints up to Chicago for the NFC Championship game. They showed up on Saturday night for Sunday's Championship game. I heard him say...
