Default agent zero opts out

Gilbert arenas just opted out of his contract......maybe not new orleans....but somebody will pick him up....if the hornets get him i expect a championship and nothing less....chris paul is more of a shooting guard and arenas is more of a pure point guard....that would create a lot of mismatches but would also get rid of a lot of height for the starting line up

I'm sure you must be kidding.

Anyway, like I was sayin', crow is the fruit of the land. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, crow-kabobs, crow creole, crow gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple crow, lemon crow, coconut crow, pepper crow, crow soup, crow stew, crow salad, crow and potatoes, crow burger, crow sandwich. That- that's about it.

if the hornets picked up agent 0.....chris paul would be moved to SG....hes faster and younger....also hes a better shooter in the paint...im not taking ne thing away from him as a point guard.....i just think he would be more valuable as a SG if they got gilbert....they are both amazing...and i know im not a hometown guy.....but really....gilbert is a better perimeter guy and a better director of the offense....not a lot better...but a little better....and they would both be on the court at the same time....thats what would make it better

i just think that pauls superior slashing ability would make him better suited for SG....but only if they had another great PG to take over for him

Seriously though, this thread is definitely a joke. Never in my life have I ever heard anything close of Gilbert Arenas being a pure PG... that's going all the way back to his days in Arizona. Better director of the offense... LOL. Arenas has always been a shoot first player... that's like saying Allen Iverson is a pure point guard. He chucks the ball up 20 times a game and has never averaged more than 6 assist per game. His assist to turnover ratio couldn't even compare to Paul's.

Barring injury, Chris Paul will finish his career as one of the greatest point guards of all time. I mean he only just had one of the greatest season's ever for a PG this past year.

I think football suits you better.

granted im not a hornets fan.....but there isnt a thread for the cavs.....i hope the cavs go all out for arenas.....but really....if u had to move one of them to SG....it would be paul.....i compare this to a-rod and derek jeter....was jeter better than a-rod....no.....but a-rod can play ne position and hes a beast....i think it'd be an easier transition for paul to play SG because hes a better overall player....u want the best players on the court...and arenas isnt going to be riding the bench...that would put him at PG and paul at SG

again....i dont really care too much about the hornets...i dont know too much about their team....i do know that paul is one of the best players in the league...and i have been a peja fan since he played for sacremento...i even have his jersey...other than that...i like the cavs...and nobody else

maybe im not saying it right tho?....and u cant tell me...if ur a hornets guy....that u wouldnt want a player like gilbert arenas on ur team

I definitely wouldn't mind him being on the Hornets... or the Bulls as a SG. He's an extremely talented scorer who knows how to get to the free throw line. Yes he can create for others, but that's certainly not his best attribute by far.

Even on principal, moving a 6 foot player to SG doesn't make sense. Every night he'll have to guard a player 4-6 inches taller than him. Opposing teams will post him down low forcing us to double team whoever he's guarding... not to mention the wear and tear that his body will take playing down in the block.

i think chris paul has the ability to guard somebody that tall tho....hes just so fast....he would have trouble with kobe..but so does everybody else....offensively they would be dominant.....defensively it would be a liability because of the height....but otherwise...it would make for an impressive team....

who is the starting 2 guard for new orleans? is it mo pete?

PG - Paul
SG - Arenas
SF - Peja
PF - West
C - Chandler

I wouldn't mind this at all. Yea it's Mo Pete.

the only thing i dont like about it is that i dont think arenas could guard a SG.....paul is a lot faster and with gilberts knees he wont be able to keep up.....paul is a much better defender and could guard a slasher a lot better...look at how he defended tony parker and TP is a pure slasher...he doesnt do much of ne thing else

You mean Chris Paul, a PG, defending a player similiar to his size who is also a PG?

Okay no matter how weird your logic is... I guess that's your opinion.
