I feel bad for the Falcons. I know, I'm being extremely generous right now. But you have to admit, Authur Blank is just a good, nice guy. He didn't deserve all of this drama. I like Mike Smith, he'll be a good coach IMO. Matt Ryan seems like a really good guy, too.
They got rid of all of the bad eggs. Except one. They need to get Vick out of their minds all together, and I think if they beat us (best division rival, main division rival) once next year it'll bring the fans back, even if they end up finishing with just 4 or 5 wins.
It could be like the blocked punt game against the Falcons for us a couple years ago.
I don't know how they can pull it off, but I'd be perfectly fine with us losing to the Falcons once this upcoming season to help bring that city back. One loss wouldn't make or break our season anyway since we have an easy schedule and we'll be a top 5 team in the NFL next season.
Then go buy yourself some Falcons gear and a pair of season tickets. I like Arthur Blank but not enough to want to lose to them. BLAHHHHHHH... Screw the Falcons!

I don't care about how down they are. This isn't about a national tradgedy. Atlanta is fine. This is about football. Call me insensitive but I don't feel ATL losing Vick a tradgedy. I don't want them to win a game, unless it's againest a division rival that we need to lose. I might be selfish, but they are the enemy and I want us to go undefeated. Sorry, just being honest.
Bring their city back from what? I live in ATL and they are just fine putting all their hopes and dreams on the Braves and are ecstatic that the Hawks made the playoffs. Arthur Blank is a class act but so are countless personnel men around the league that have losing teams and are in worse situations than the Falcons. Hell, you can say that the Saints off the field are in a worse situation from a stability standpoint than the Falcons.
Authur is a nice guy but thats no reason to want to lose to them. Have you ever got on the ESPN forum and read the junk that opposing fans have typed about us including the Falcons. They make Katrina jokes still and think that our city is a dump. Screw them and screw the Falcons. I dont even live in Louisiana anymore. Hell, I live here in Atlanta right now and proudly wear my Saints hat where ever I go. I do feel bad for them but thats just because Im a softie. Yea I admit it But I would never hope to let any team win espically the falcons. There is only one team I hate more than the falcons and that is the cowgirls.
