Today, Howard leads the league in wins with 30 and also ranks in the top nine in goals-against average (fifth, 2.03) and save percentage (ninth, .924).
“Now, after three years, looking back on it, I see Kenny and Jim (Bedard’s) method to their madness, how they make sure the guys are mature. It really helped me,” Howard said. “(Being an All Star) means a lot. It’s an honor to represent this organization and the NHL. It’s been a long road for me to get to where I am today, a lot of hard work and patience. It’s good to see it paying off.”
