That Mindy McCready killed herself.

BUT...

I just read an article - on NPR no less - which attempted to make the case that Mindy was every bit as good as Linda Ronstadt.

Now listen people. McCready was not in the same league as Linda. And it's not even close. In fact I was completely disgusted by the article. It's just stupid to even suggest it. I doubt very seriously the writer is in any way qualified to make the case, and further I'd be willing to bet the writer wasn't even alive in the 70's.

Just goes to reinforce the old saying. Don't believe everything you read. I'm still pissed off about it.
