Damn, that sucks. I haven't kept up with slayer much over the last few years, had no idea about his health problems. RIP Jeff.

For sure. Never much of a Slayer fan, but dude had balls. Did I hear this might have been complications from a spider bite?

Correct. He hasn't been playing much the last few years since the spider bite and healthy had been pretty shaky ever since.
