Kid Rock Surprises Fan With Down Syndrome on His 30th Birthday
 

Kid Rock is a cool dude.

He further proved that on Monday (Oct. 27) when he accepted an invitation to surprise an Ohio fan with Down Syndrome on his birthday.

Dan McGurk was celebrating his 30th birthday with his family at the Clarkson Union Woodshop (MI) when the Detroit rocker appeared holding a cake while singing ‘happy birthday.’

As you’ll see in the video, McGurk could hardly contain his excitement when he initially saw Kid Rock walking up.

The surprises weren’t over yet.

Once Kid Rock sat down, he asked McGurk “Do you like presents?” as he signaled for a large box to be brought over to the table.

Inside was an ‘American Badass’ hat, a picture and a guitar (which he autographed).

McGurk then asked when Kick Rock was going to play a show in Toledo again, to which the singer responded:

“I know I’ll definitely be playing in Detroit again, so get one of your brothers or your dad to drive you up and we’ll take care of you.”

This just goes to show that tiny gestures can go a long way. It’s nice to see some celebrities realize that.
