Swap picks with Titans

Hey Guys,

What do you think about trading down one pick in the draft with the Titans assuming The Texans draft Reggie Bush as expected. I can tell you, it is absolutely crazy in Houston about who they will pick. But, I think if they pass on Young, we will be in a unique position. There will be plenty of calls to move the pick, but if we are set on Lienhart, why not put the Titans together for some extra picks.

Bud Adams would love to stick it to the texans.

If we trade one pick with the Titans, assuming they would even entertain this, what would be the benefit? I think if they have the chance, they will take Leinart, with his former OC at USC being their OC. Or they may not go QB at all, considering McNair just re-did his deal to stay, or was about to, and they have a more than capable backup in Volek. I just don't see where moving one spot benefits either team. Are you assuming they want Young more than Leinart? Could be, but I am sure they won't be pissed if they got either.

I think the Titans are eye young, if they think we will pass on young they won't make the trade when they can get him at 3. I think its more likely that we trade with Oakland so they can get there boy Leinart.

what would be the point of trading down one pick. What do you think they would give up to move up one spot. A seventh round pick... Why would the even do that? If they want a quarterback they will atleast get one. Texas will choose bush so that leaves Lienart or Young. We can only choose one so that leaves the other. The only thing that might spart such a ridiculous trade would be if Houston pics Young. But then that would leave Bush and Lienart. Either one of those would be good as a left over.
Soooooooo my point is this is a stupid question.

We've been having this debate forever now and the last time this came up is that there was speculation that the Titans might be interested in trading Volek and a third rounder to get Leinart and it's not only me with that speculation, there are a couple of other mock drafts out that that had the same scenario at one time. Chow would love to get Leinart as his QB of the future, just remember you heard it hear first.

cher, cat trust me volek nobody is putting a deal together to get someone that probably will be released anyway. and i'll say again why would any saintfan in there right mine want the team to waste anything even a draft position on a qb, that his own team has made it obvious they don't want him starting for them??? as you've heard rumors so have i, poor decision making, holds onto the ball too long, can't feel the rush? this sounds like a winner for us.

I'd like to trade with Jets, get an extra 2nd, get Brick in the first, two LB's in the second, unless someone falls majorly... maybe even trade our 2nd pick down to pick up more.... Whats the record for most picks in a draft?

Ok, I'll play with ya for a few. If Volek is crap why haven't they already cut him? Why were the Titans so set on getting a first round pick for him last year? Obviously someone thinks he has skills or they would have taken a second or even a third for him? Right?

i like the saints to swap with the jets, who are more desparate for a qb than the titans.
