I have heard that the league is going to give the saints some compensatory picks this year. Supposedly, the highest pick will be no lower than a third round pick possibly even a second round pick. Hopefully, these rumors turn out to be true.

That would be awesome, but still no word of anything having to do with compensatory picks. Great late round pick of the day: Dwayne Slay - Texas Tech, Safety.

Big 12 Defensive player of the year in 2005, this guy is a stud. Move Dwight Smith back to CB and have the two youngins back at safety with Slay and Bullocks.

Comp picks don't get handed out until after the Free Agency period. Teams are alotted Comp picks based on losses/gains in tallent from FA and trades. We won't hear anything about them for quite a while.
