Agreed. The name of the team has to do with the city where the team was founded.
Saints belongs and makes sense to New Orleans. November 1 doesn't mean anything other than it is the 1st day of November in other cities.
Patriots makes sense being in Mass., and even called New England.
There are other football teams in the New England states and I don't which team came first, but NEP makes sense.
Phoenix Cardinals, are there Cardinal birds in Phoenix, AZ? LOL. I assume the heat there would smother them in flight, LOL!!!
