... final play of the game, Pats attempting the game winning field goal, Brady takes the snap, comes out of the crouch, wheels left and hits a streaking Chad Ochocinco down the sideline for the score ... the crowd goes wild.

... it is now just one step closer to reality, gentlemen ... I knew it, I knew it, Belicheck was gonna' somehow use Ochocinco in this game ... expect the unexpected from 'Wild' Bill ...

It's far from heartless, Underwood will still get a game check and ring if the Pats win. It's calculated, like everything Belicheck does.

Still if that happened to me, I would be heart-broke, to think I got to make it all of the way to the SB and not get to play. Belicheck has ice in his veins if he wasn't a coach he would be a heartless serial-killer just glad he knows football. The Mad-Hoodie thats a fitting name.

I honestly believe so too... and have had this scenario play out in my head a few months back. Though I thought it would have been sooner in the playoffs.

Underwood wasn't going to make an impact in this game. Belichick has been manipulating the waiver wire system all year to work in his favor. He'll cut a player one week one to re-sign him the week after to take advantage of match ups and work the depth chart for game to game in his favor. This isn't shocking... at least they let him experience the whole week of the Superbowl festivities. He'll still get a ring... and hell, he'll probably be re-signed again for next year unless he goes and follow his old college coach.

This game isn't about being sweet and nice to everyone. Its about winning it all.

If Bill thinks his team has a better shot with a back-up D-lineman over a back-up WR then I have no problem with that.

LoL! So you think Belichek's career path would have been 'Hannibal Lecter' if he hadn't become a football coach?

NFL is a heartless sport...........Tear your knees up and your gone. Look at Manning, top QB in the league. Someone you would not dare to trade or get rid of. Only takes a year for you to be here then gone in the NFL.

Family ! Were a family. You might mean Mafia.

Hey was that KARMA !

Halo 02-05-2012 09:45 PM

Definitely KARMA

OldMaid 02-05-2012 10:15 PM

I agree with Halo and others.
Bad move on Belli**** there. I get NFL is business. PR is a big part of business. That was a bad pr move. People don't like mean. That was mean. Can you imagine the poor guys' family , friends there? So embarrassing. And I will give equal time. At Saints SB, on some SB behind the scenes show, the Saints cheerleader director cut about four girls from performing on the show. They did not do anything illegal or anything like that. They were not as flexible that day. Cheerleaders? Who really cares? Who noticed? Who in the stands would have cared or noticed ? The girls could have been out there for one or two easy drills. Instead, tehy watched the game backstage. To have them there and they could not perform on any most routines? Come on? That was bad pr. Stupid. Not needed.

QBREES9 02-05-2012 11:28 PM

Why were the girls stopped from performing. Their is always some behind the scene story.

OldMaid 02-06-2012 06:26 PM

From what was said on the clip, the girls did not know the routines...were not flexible enough.
Still, cheerleading. they made the squad and cheered at other Saints games.
Surely, they could have just done some basic drills for SB.

QBREES9 02-06-2012 10:35 PM

Man thats wrong too.
