Possible 2012 free agent aquisitions?
 

Reggie Wayne (WR) Indianapolis- 862 receptions, 11,708 yards, 73 Touchdowns. 7-1000 plus yard seasons and almost an 8th with a back up quarterback. If Wayne isn't picked back up by the Colts eventhough he is in his 11th season and approaching 34 years old he would still be a prime target for Drew Brees. If for some reason the Saints cant get Colston back for the 2012 season Wayne would be an excellent addition.

Randy Moss (FA)- Moss's agent says he is in excellent physical condition and has had several teams calling to inquire about his health. The Patriots look to be the front runner as far as teams that are interested, but the Saints are a playoff team and Moss has already expressed interest in a playoff caliber team. If the price is right we could see Moss in a Saints jersey for the 2012 season.

Pierre Garcon (WR) Indianapolis- 188 receptions, 2519 yards, 16 Touchdowns. Garcon averages 4 to 6 Touchdowns per season which is the same as Reggie Wayne. Garcon has proven to be a reliable target for Manning when there were no other options. If Wayne gets a new contract and Garcon somehow slips between the cracks the Saints could get an excellent addition to the already amazing recieving core. Garcon plays much like Lance Moore and is just as dependable between the seems.

Ben Grubbs (OG) Baltimore-If for some crazy reason the Saints decide not to renew Nicks contract and keep him in Neworleans, Grubbs has been an above average lineman on one of the better units in the league over the past few years. He's proven to be an effective run blocker, especially on the move. The team is at its best when the offense can move defenders off the line and establish a run game, of which Grubbs is a big part of. Still, with Ray Rice a priority, it will bump Grubbs down just a notch, allowing room for his departure.

Mario Williams (DE) Houston-241 tackles, 53 sacks, 10 pass deflections, 11 forced fumbles. Williams suffered a torn chest muscle in the Texans 5th game of the season against the Raiders. He was sidelined for the season with a question mark next to his name as far as his return for next season. Williams says he is healing very fast and expects to attend offseason workouts. Houston has a very difficult decision to make this season with 2 of there best players falling to free agancy in Foster and Williams. Should the Texans decide to franchise Foster then there is a high possibility the Saints could acquire Williams this offseason. Adding Williams could significantly increase the pressure on the outside with an aging Will Smith on the other end. Combined the two players would have 640 tackles, 114.5 sacks, 33 pass deflections, 31 forced fumbles, 1 safety, and 2 interceptions.

I wouldn't mind having Mario but I live in Houston there not letting him go. Grubbs I would go after if some reason Nicks leave. Now Mathis and Abraham I would shoot for after we sighn I our major free agents. We need to sign our guys back and may be sign a couple of defensive player LB,LB,LB and DE
