What?!?! And who's gonna' make up for the lack of politically incorrect remarks and off-field antics that are Jeremy Shockey if he retires? Guess Roethlisberger is going to have to work overtime ...

I don't want him back.

Now hear me out.

He got mad because we went with JG. So he goes to our rival, talks a lot of smack. We sweep the Panties and prove to him we made the right choice. Now, with that said.... I like Shockey, I am greatful for his time here at N.O. But what does he really bring to the table?

for me what he brings is a better player than Gilmour or the other 3 guys we trot out there at backup TE

sure, he's an ass, but we knew that 5 years ago when we brought him in

I hear ya, brother.

It just seems like one of those relationships that you just can't go back too. I wonder what kinda relationship he and SP had when he left?

edit: Will he be satisfied as a back-up and take back-up money?

Our 3 backup tight ends are primarily used for their blocking and Gilmore is a better blocker than Graham or Shockey combined.
