Matt Shaubb is the GUY in HOUSTON, i think he wants to stay in AFC... Yall remember the JETS players were lobbying for him before he even got off the ground from the last neck injury. MARK SANCHEZ is cocky and hasnt won over his team....... HE GOES TO THE BIG APPLE

Washington has that long history of throwing tons of dubious money at aging veterans-- that is a pattern that Peyton and Condon might find very appealing. Although Tony Dungy said that Peyton does not want to compete with his brother for the same division, although I don't know why that would really be a factor, or how Dungy would know that. But he could take Washington's owner to the cleaners, and make a bundle there, I'm sure.

I doubt that he goes to the Jets. For one, little brother is in the same city, for two, no dome. But who knows.

I hope he doesn't go to Kansas City. That would suck for him.

Oh yeah, forgot about him ... got caught up in 'T.J.(Yates)-mania' there for a moment ...

I think 3 teams might have a battle for Manning.

1) Miami They need a QB, and thye warm weather might be a good fit for him there.

2)Arizona again they have QB issues, the weather is good, and the Division is weak, He might make an Immediate impact there, and with Larry Fitzgerald a great target.

3) Minn Vikings. I say this because they like to take QB's that are older and on the downside of their careers, It's and indoor stadium, and might be a good fit for him to train their younger QB there.

Sorry for being a negative, but wherever he goes, I think his glory days are over.
PM is a lot of personality . On/off field , he is used to be a coach as well as the qb.
Any player in Indy over PM's career sort of understand he was the qb, big name, coach and more.
PM has had really good players around him. It takes a while to develop a team. Now, who are the players he would have.
There is a lot to think about in where he goes. What are the good teams out there looking for a qb that are set and ready to go far ?
Being dropped by Indy was no surprise or secret. That was common sense.
PM wanting to continue with his career is not a surprise.
A team picking him is not surprising either.
It is going to be a very interesting football year (for a lot of reasons....).

I think your pick #3 is a good possibility. Indoor stadium. He is not used to the weather elements.
Well, this is what is always said about the Saints.

He could go to the 49ers, with that defense; easily make the play-offs again...

How about the Texans? Another great team just a decent QB away from the playoffs again...

That's two right off the top of my head...

Don't think of it as being negative, think of it as offering a different point of view.

I agree that PM has a very charismatic personality and is a leader. If he doesn't wind up as a coach or general manager for a team some day, I'd be surprised.

I also agree his playing days, if not over, are close to it. My biggest fear for Peyton is that he will sign with another team, injure his neck yet again next season, and this time even more seriously.
