Another Packers Super Bowl ring is for sale

Regardless, less than three months after a team employee’s Super Bowl XLV ring was purchased at a pawn shop for roughly $17,000, another Super Bowl XLV ring is available.

... WTH is this guy thinking? "I'm with the Buffalo Bills now, I'm gonna' have the opportunity to get another one"? :roflmao:

I'm sure Roger will start fining people for selling their rings any day now. Make more than 20k on it and he'll suspend you for the season...

QBREES9 07-05-2012 10:48 PM

Man, you never know if your going to get another one. DUMB.

... I almost wish he would ... I hate when I see these ungrateful, no-talent, m'fers selling their championship stuff ... if RG can't suspend them, there should be something like a clause in CBA about having to play a season or two for the Falcons after selling a SB ring ... that would make 'em think twice about selling that stuff!

Never won one - so I can't say for sure - but I think I'd want to hang on to my Super Bowl ring.

The exception would be selling for something like a charity, like what Jim Palmer is doing with regard to his autistic stepson.

... something like that I can agree with ... Jim Palmer, class act, great pitcher, played his entire career for the Orioles & I think he was the winning-est pitcher (best record) of the 70's.

I agree with mutineer.

He might feel that he didn't earn it the way he wanted or what I think is more likely, he just needed the cash. You don't make a fantastic amount of money being on the PS, just moving from Green Bay to Buffalo and maybe getting a new place to live is gonna cost him.
