Because when they lose 1 game they will all give up on the team, burn their jerseys and flags, and go to the only 5 star restaurant in Atlanta ( Wendys ) to drink colt 45 and talk about the draft.

Seriously though, we didn't have SB threads after 5 games in 2009, and if they showed up they were quickly shot down from what I remember.

That's some serious revisionist history. I remember Saints fans shouting DYNASTY before the team had even won a Superbowl

Let's not start with the dynasty debate again... last time it almost ended in tears! :-)

Bah, let them have their fun and talk themselves up. It'll be that much funnier when they choke and fall apart like they always do!

I agree with Fin about that dyansty talk here. Many here did not agree with it. Fate is you just don't count everything as done before it happenes, even in your life.
Atl Falcons fans, time will tell. The Falcons still have 1/2 of this football season and then postseason. That is a long, long, time away.

I dont think we will truly see another Dynasty in Football again.

The last one of our era was pretty much a sham with Spy Gate going. The last one before that was Dallas in the early 90s.

2 year span of winning the SB in 2009, the NFC had teams that greatly improved to move into a high caliber team challenging for the Conference title, you go back into Patriots era, Cowboys era, and prior, I can remember the same teams often staying in the playoffs every year, their was no parity, its why teams like NE, Dallas, San Fran, was in the playoffs and SB so much in those years, those teams didnt change much, nor did their competition.

FFWD to now, its another ball game. Teams continually changing.

I am certain the Saints will see another SB appearance though before Brees retires.

I am going to tell you first hand, Atl wont even get close to the SB this year.
