Practice squad players make WHAT?!!!

The Patriots recently increased the practice squad pay of WR Greg Salas from $149,600 to $465,001.

The significant pay bump was likely extended because another team tried to poach Salas off the New England practice squad. At $465,001, Salas' salary is now $1 more than what it would be at the league minimum for a second-year player. Salas is likely to receive a late-season callup from the Patriots.
