What do you expect, he went to Tennessee!

I just know that he dropped a perfectly thrown pass at the 7 yard line. Nobody within 5 yards of him and nothing but green ahead.

When we were in the playoffs vs lions, we were struggling and meachem dropped a perfect 40 yard pass, devery Henderson caught a 40 yard TD on the very next play

Meachem isn't and will not ever be a number 1 receiver

Sorry, but I'm still upset about it. Dropped pass or not.

He was a slow developer. If it hadn't been for Curtis Martin he would have been a major disaster.

Anyone checked him for head trauma?

What's the purpose of this thread? To rag on the way he talks?

I think that's ignorant and stupid.

People weren't too upset with Meachem leaving because they thought it wasn't worth the money and that he was replaceable. While he wouldn't have been worth the money here, our receiving core has been a revolving inconsistent door so far this year. The Chargers have bigger problems than Robert Meachem.

And he spiked TWO footballs in our end zone a couple weeks back.

And ALL of our receivers have had the dropsies and some still do.

We got the hundred million dollar man, though and well on our way back to mediocrity if someone in our front office doesn't pull his/her head out.

Well this is Meachem in a nutshell. One week he'll wow you and catch 6 passes for 153yds and 2 TDs and next week he'll only have 2 drops. His biggest problem has always been inconsistancy. The talent is undeniably there but he just seems unable to put it together every time he plays.

Curtis Johnson? I still think he was one of the BEST receivers coach in the league b

I wish people would quit using the word "ignorant" out of context. To be ignorant, one must IGNORE something. If someone is picking on the way someone else talks, that is not ignorant. It is perhaps uncalled for... unless you're making fun of roddy white. He deserves it.

If someone is running around naked and you say "what? I didn't notice anything wrong", that is ignorant. Sorry, but this is a long time pet peeve of mine.

If someone is not speaking correctly, that can be considered ignorant...

I was referring to someone in here who said it was ignorant to rag on the way Meachem talks.

Again, in order to be ignorant, one must ignore something. Using your above information, someone with lack of knowledge could be considered ignorant. But only if he ignored the facts about whatever it is he is lacking knowledge in. Not knowing something, and refusing to know something are two different things

When someone makes fun of another, it is an insult. It is in no way ignorant. Is it not a fact that if someone doesn't speak very well, then they can be subject to criticism for that reason? I'm not saying it's right to make fun of someone, unless that person is just a complete idiot and brings it on himself. But my point is that there is no lack of knowledge, and nothing has been ignored. Thus making the word "ignorant" out of context.

I see it routinely. If someone, such as myself, doesn't agree with homosexuality for instance, then they are labeled as ignorant. How is it ignorant to have a stance, or belief? Am I ignoring or lacking in knowledge of what a homosexual is? No, I know exactly what that is, and I don't stand for it. I don't hate them, but I hate the lifestyle. I have every bit as much right to stand against it as people who believe they have the right to be gay. And as far as the law is concerned, they do have the right, sadly. But I'm less concerned with what man deems right, as I am with what God says is right. In fact, I only care what God has said.

If that is ignorant, then we are all ignorant. Because everyone has a belief, and no one can be right if there is no God to tell us we are right. We have no moral compass to stand on without Him.
