49ers' Dobbs arrested, won't travel
 

The California Highway Patrol says it arrested San Francisco 49ers defensive end Demarcus Dobbs early Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

CHP Officer D.J. Sarabia says Dobbs was involved in a single-car accident in which he hit a chain-link fence and a bush but didn't sustain any injuries. Dobbs was arrested at 3:45 a.m.

The arrest came on the 25th birthday for Dobbs, one of the NFC West-leading Niners' top special teams players. The 49ers released a statement Friday afternoon saying Dobbs wouldn't travel with the team Friday to St. Louis, where San Francisco faces the Rams on Sunday.

The 49ers say they have been in contact with Dobbs and the NFL office and ''we are gathering the relevant facts as it pertains to this situation.''

A mere pittance it would these guys and entertainers.

WE, regular salaryed folks, use a car service for things: getting from airport, some being picked up from home to airport and airport to home for business trips (pd. by your company) , really.
How stupid can you be? Your team is this close to Playoffs, in it, and you eff off like this. A short time career thing in a short one-time career.
Of course, he should not, no one , have marijuana anyway.
